Yum yum! Tuna sashimi, one of my favorite’s when I go out for sushi, is chock-full of protein and low on fat and cholesterol. It is often served on a bed of daikon (white Japanese radish), and many Japanese restaurants will serve it with ginger and wasabi on the plate as well.
On a much crappier note, however, the popularity of bluefin tuna for sashimi has devastated the species population to the verge of extinction.
